Squad: 4 Squad Position: Second Primary Weapon: A morningstar named Paul. Combat Style: Emma is a brutal combatant. She goes hard and fast; no style, just ruthless efficiency and results. If she only had to care about herself in battle, Emma would either be unstoppable, or she would be dead, because Emma is a hell of a risk taker. She's unafraid of the personal consequences to her actions, chooses not to worry about what will happen if she dives the wrong way or engages too early. There's no glory in losing because of fear—a philosophy she expects everyone to have.
Improvising in the heat of battle is Emma's greatest strength. Chaos is her element, it's where she finds her center, and she will often do something surprising (or incredibly stupid, but hopefully effective) to regain the upper hand when things go to shit. The problem is, she doesn't always remember things like the chain of command in these instances, and will bluster ahead and nearly get herself killed without signaling her intent to the leader.
As a second, Emma struggles to find that balance between leading and following. She sees it as her own personal responsibility to have Flint's back in a fight and get him back to the real world in one piece. But she's headstrong and opinionated, and if she disagrees with what they're doing, she'll say so. It's not necessarily a pride thing—if she's wrong, she'll admit it, and if they don't have time to hash it out, she'll do what's expected of her as long as it doesn't seem like it's about to get someone killed—it's just more an issue of not knowing when to shut up
When it comes to the squad, though, she's very aware of where everyone on her team is, what they're doing and who's in trouble. If she asks someone to do something, it's important to her that they know it's because she trusts them to do it better than her. There's nothing Emma would ever ask a squad to do that she wouldn't do herself, and with way too much enthusiasm. This includes dying.
She also doesn't handle tension very well and often encourages Eli's chatter and jokes more than she probably should. Team morale is important!!!

Persona Name: Daniel Persona Appearance: At first, it just looks like a tree with no foliage. Not the kind of tree you would cut down; there are too many twists in this trunk, too many knots and vines wound around the length of the tree. But then it starts moving, the trunk splits in two, like legs, the knots turn into eyes, a gaping hollow becomes a mouth, something resembling a face forms. Around where you would expect her chest to be (and you can tell it's a her, there's a distinctly feminine energy in there), there's a hole, hidden behind naked branches wrapped protectively around the trunk. And in that hole, something burns.
At first, it's a faint glow, something smoldering in the heart of the tree. As a battle grows more intense, so does the fire inside, with orange and yellow and red shining through cracks in the wood. If she needs to use a special attack, the branches will unwrap, revealing the gaping hole in the chest and unleashing the fire inside.
